?Installing on Android
Download the APK from the home page and open it. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser — that's expected for apps distributed outside the Play Store. Once installed, updates are handled inside the app: it checks for a new version, downloads it, verifies it, and prompts you to install.
?iOS
The iOS app isn't publicly available yet. Join the waitlist with your email and we'll invite you when it's ready.
?Connecting a model
PokiTavern speaks the same API as desktop SillyTavern, so setup is the same: open API Connections, pick your provider, and paste your own API key. Prompts go directly from your device to that provider — nothing routes through us.
?Using your phone as a LAN server
Tap the floating ball to open the menu and find the LAN address
(something like http://192.168.1.23:41520/). Open that address
in a browser on any device connected to the same Wi-Fi. It's the same
server, so your characters and chats are identical everywhere.
?Where is my data?
Entirely on your device, in a local database. There is no cloud account and no server-side copy. Back up your characters and chats by exporting them from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
